Meet our sweet girl Bonnie. This beautiful girl was found dying on the street in Stockton CA. She had been shot multiple times and left for dead. She wandered the streets, bleeding, hungry, dragging her necrotic leg, for at least a week. When an animal control officer found Bonnie, when she should have been afraid and angry at all of us humans, she was sweet and gentle. Bonnie lost her leg following the shooting, but not her spirit. She is a young girl with lots of time and love to share with her forever family. Bonnie will always be a special needs girl and she needs to be placed with a family that is ready to take care of Bonnie for the rest of her life. Bonnie likes children and other dogs, but we will have to do proper introductions to make sure everyone fits together well. Bonnie is ready for the second part of her life to begin, the part where she lives safely and happily in the middle of a loving family. If you would like to meet Bonnie, and consider giving her all the love she missed out on in her early life, please submit at application at www.azmastiffrescue.com We know Bonnie is ready to settle in with her forever family and blossom into a wonderful dog.
