Meet Sami
Sami’s world recently changed when her mom developed significant health issues and had to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender her beloved girl. Sami is understandably a bit stressed right now and needs time to decompress and feel safe again—but she has all the makings of a truly wonderful family dog.
Sami is crate trained, house trained, and has great house manners. She walks nicely on a leash and knows how to settle in the home. She previously lived with a small dog and children over the age of 7, and did well in that environment.
Sami would thrive in a home with another dog—either a small dog or a large-breed companion to play with—and prefers kids over the age of 6. She is from a well-known breeder in California, and her breeder is aware that she is now in rescue.
With a little patience, love, and routine, Sami will blossom again and be an incredibly loyal companion.
