Rambo’s story is one of true resilience. This big, beautiful boy was rescued from the Lancaster, California shelter where he was fighting for his life with microplasma pneumonia. He came heartbreakingly close to not making it — but after nearly three months of care, love, and treatment, Rambo has made a full recovery and is now healthy, happy, neutered, and ready for his forever home! ❤️

Rambo is a dog-friendly giant with a kind and gentle soul. He loves people, enjoys car rides, and has the sweetest personality. Because of his size, he could use some continued leash work — he’s strong and tends to pull a bit — but he’s eager to please and would thrive with a confident owner who understands large breeds.

Now that he’s finally well and full of life again, Rambo is looking for a family who will cherish him the way he deserves — one that sees the fighter and the sweetheart in this incredible boy.
