Come meet Boomer and you will instantly fall in love! He is one of the happiest and sweetest dogs you will meet. A total clown, he will bring joy everyday to the family that chooses to adopt him. Everyone that meets him, can't help but smile. True to his Newfie breed, he is doing amazing in his foster home with 3 kids and 4 dogs, he adores everyone and everything. One of his favorite activities is to throw and pounce on tennis balls. Though he prefers to be with his people first and foremost. He's just a total love! Nothing makes him happier than being at your side. You have to meet him to truly appreciate his character.

 

He was surrendered because he was not doing well at his job of watching livestock (alone as an outside dog); his only fault was that he wanted to spend all his time with people and not by himself.  Boomer is a special needs dog as he does have an arched spine, but don't let that fool you, it hasn't stopped him or even slowed him down. He loves to run, jump, and play just as any dog, and is faster than many! Mobility is far from an issue now, but he will likely need added care later in life. Boomer is an exceptionally sweet guy and is ready for a forever home that will love and appreciate him, as he has so much to give.
